Iscsi latency what is high
This more of a false positive alert? I would open a support case, need to verify that Delayed ACK is actually disabled. The BP doc, says to uncheck and reboot. What I've been seeing is that's not always effective. Any NEW volumes get that valule, but all the existing ones, stored in a local DB still have it enabled. Only way for sure to fix it, is put node in maint mode. Remove discovery address for EQL array s.
When it comes back up, re-add the discovery address. Check that the DelayedACK checkbox is clear. THEN rescan the adapter. That's only sure fire way to know that DelayedACK isn't enabled. That's the signature of delayedACK being in effect. However, seeing those messages occasionally is not much of concern. That should remain very low. Browse Community. Turn on suggestions. I went into vCenter to take a look at the datastore and noticed I would get latency from 25msms. I use to have my VM's setup on a 4 x 4TB Mirrored and it worked really well other than I ran out of space due to my carelessness with the amount of VM"s on that datastore and snapshots running too often. I have now went back to this setup and carefully planned out what VM's will be living on this datastore.
Only time will tell how this will hold up. Question: Everything was running fine on raidz2 until I brought up 3 more VM's. Once I shut those VM's off, the latency was still there. Is that an expected behavior? Would a reboot have fixed that issue?

I am currently running the latest version of starwinds free iscsi server. I have connected it to a HP 10Gb port which is also connected via 10Gb to our vmware servers. I have a dedicated vlan just for iscsi and have enabled jumbo frames on the vlan.
I frequently see very high latency on my iscsi storage. So much so that it can timeout or hang vmware.
